Who We Are We began in 1975 as Smokeeter Sales and Service and concentrated mostly on selling Smokeeter® Air Cleaners to bars, bowling alleys and fraternal organizations to combat tobacco smoke. Smokeeter® equipment, manufactured by United Air Specialists, today remains an important part of our product line; however, we have added a number of other products to control the many pollutants that are found in other various work environments. In 1992, we changed our name to Clean Air Concepts to more fully encompass our scope of air cleaning expertise and our ever-increasing product selection. In 1993 Clean Air Concepts entered the fire vehicle diesel exhaust market and since then have installed hundreds of applications throughout the Midwest. We have been instrumental in designing and are currently marketing the MagneGrip™ 21st century magnetic nozzle assembly in conjunction with the CAC Sliding Balancer Hose Drop System which removes diesel fumes in firehouses with an air-tight connection but requires no air-pressure or electrical support, thereby making the system more efficient, with less maintenance, and with less cost than other systems. For those who desire a pneumatic hose drop system, we offer the HazVent Diesel Exhaust System. Also, we can design and install vehicle exhaust systems for municipalities, commercial trucking and other industries. While our scope of doing business has changed over the years, one thing has remained a constant - we always service what we sell.
