Dust-Cat® Media Filtration Series helps you meet OSHA requirements for employee heath and safety by removing contaminants from the air. Dust-Cat® collects small, large and conductive materials where dry or wet particles are a problem.
The Dust-Cat® products are non electrostatic air cleaning systems with high efficiency filters ideal for removing smoke, dust, oil mist and other pollutants from plant air. Offering a practical and effective solution for collecting contaminants, the Dust-Cat® series comes with multiple filtration options to fit your specific pollution control needs, HEPA filters for sub-micronic or toxic/hazardous substances, oil impingement filters for oil mist, carbon filters for odors and gases and a selection of pre filters and bag filters ranging in both size and efficiency. The filters are easy to replace or clean, and the media collection surface holds up to 30% more contaminant than comparable products, which means less frequent filter changes.

DUST-CAT® PRINCIPAL OF OPERATION
The DUST-CAT® operates on a two- or three stage concept of media filtration. Air enters the unit and first passes through the pre filter where larger particles are collected. Next, the air is drawn through the primary filter section for capture of small particulate. The cleaned air is then recirculated into the room.

DA
Model DA filter components are accessed through the front of the unit. This model is best suited for dry particulate and for unducted installations.
MODEL MINI-DB and DB
The model Mini-DB and DB are flexible units offering a wide range of filter options and can be used in wet or dry particulate applications. The side door provides for easy access to the components. Both the Model Mini-DB and DB can be used in ducted installations to capture contaminants at their source.

The DUST-CAT® Media Series two- and three stage filtration systems are available in 2000 nominal CFM (front load), and 1000 and 3000 nominal CFM (side load) models.
Unique Design Features:
CABINET:
The rugged 16 gauge steel cabinet has wrap-around welded
construction, with weld nuts in each corner for ease of
installation.
Other features specific to each model include:
- PREFILTER: Disposable pleated media for dry application or an oil impinger for wet particulate.
- FINAL FILTER: Available in several configurations depending on required efficiency and application.
- FILTER CONDITION INDICATOR: A 0-5" minihelic gauge allows operator to visually determine filter condition and maintain peak airflow, efficiency and filter life.
- BLOWER/MOTOR: Models DA and Mini-DB come standard with a direct drive motor/blower assembly. Model DB comes standard with a belt drive motor/blower assembly.
- OUTLET VANES: Four-way directional louvers are individually adjustable to create the airflow pattern your particular application requires.
OPTIONAL FEATURES:
Wrap-around prefilters, inlet diffuser plenums, right angle discharge plenums, drain bottle, drain loop trap assembly, air guide panels and airflow configurations available to meet specific requirements.
